Ford Fans to Receive Complimentary BlueCruise Technology

Ford is making significant strides in-car technology with BlueCruise. And now, the Blue Oval is making it even easier for people to try it. The American automaker includes the necessary hardware as a standard car feature. Ford fans don’t have to add anything extra to get the cool hands-free highway driving feature. 

The Mach-E maker offers an ingenious feature known as BlueCruise for Ford and Lincoln drivers. Ford’s Blue Cruise technology allows drivers to activate it anytime during vehicle ownership. Ford fans can pay for the tech subscription yearly or monthly, depending on what works best for them. Those Blue Oval enthusiasts who don’t activate BlueCruise at purchase will receive a free trial. By 2024, the American automaker plans to put BlueCruise hardware in 500,000 cars in North America, including electric and gas-powered models.

After that, enthusiasts can choose to activate BlueCruise monthly or yearly, depending on their needs. No long-term commitment is required so Ford drivers can use it for a short road trip or a longer cross-country journey. It’s just like subscribing to a streaming service – fans can use it when needed and then cancel it whenever necessary. BlueCruise is a great way to enhance a driving experience while staying safe on the road.

In the past, when buying a Ford vehicle, customers had to decide if they wanted to pay for an extra feature called BlueCruise that allowed for hands-free driving on highways. But now, the American automaker has made it easier by including BlueCruise as a standard feature in some models, which means that customers don’t have to worry about deciding whether or not they want it – it’s already included.

Ford recently released a new version of BlueCruise called BlueCruise 1.3.
