The 2023 Super Duty Towing Figures Released

Hot off the press; fresh news from the 2023 F-Series family. The Super Duty family acquired a crisp redesign with a strong face and a grille that demands attention. In addition to the captivating exterior, the Super Duty crew reveals a more sophisticated interior than its predecessors, the 2022 models, plus the available 12.0-inch touchscreen. 

Our noteworthy addition lies underneath the hood of an F-Series pickup, the new 6.8-liter V8. The new V8 engine joins the likes of the 7.3-liter V8 and the diesel-guzzling 6.7-liter V8. Even the F-350 takes a jab at the competition with a towing capacity of 38,000 pounds with the gooseneck trailer.

The Blue Oval automaker assures the best towing setup in its segment, which is why it transcends beyond 30,000 lbs. In addition to its impeccable towing capabilities, the American automaker revealed that the F-Series family maxes out with an 8,000-lb payload, which is several hundred pounds higher than the RAM or Chevrolet pickups. 

Ford also revealed the horsepower and torque for the 2023 Super Duty crew. The 6.8-liter V8 engine generates 405 HP and 445 lb-ft of torque. At the same time, the heftier 7.3-liter V8 engine produces 430 ponies and 485 lb-ft of torque. Then there’s the king of engines, the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel which offers a ton of versatility and output. The beastly Power Stroke engine renders 475 HP and 1050 lb-ft of torque, while the High Output diesel engine bears a rich 500 HP and 1200 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, the 10-speed automatic is the sole transmission option available, with four-wheel-drive premiering standard with the XLT trim.
