The Iconic 2024 Ford F-150 Gets Updated
Ford has recently announced its upcoming redesign of the F-150 truck, set to launch in 2024. The new design will feature a more box-like shape and a range of exciting new features. One of the most notable improvements is that the hybrid version will be more widely available and priced equally to the 3.5-liter EcoBoost gas model, making it more accessible to customers. The F-150 will also have an upgraded tailgate that makes it easier to access when towing. This model will be equipped with a head-up display, marking the first time this technology is available for this truck model.
Upcoming Redesigned 2024 Ford F-150
The Ford F-150 is an exceptional choice for those seeking a powerful and fuel-efficient vehicle. Its fully boxed high-strength steel frame ensures durability and longevity, while its military-grade aluminum alloy body reduces weight and increases fuel efficiency. With best-in-class available payload and maximum towing capability, this vehicle is perfect for those who need to haul heavy loads.
The F-150 lineup offers a range of trims, from the basic XL to the luxurious Platinum Plus, as well as off-road ready models, such as Tremor, Raptor, and Raptor R, that are ideal for adventurous drivers.
Ford customers are particularly thrilled with the industry-first and class-exclusive Pro Power Onboard feature, allowing the F-150 to be used as a mobile power generator. Depending on the trim level, this feature is available in various configurations, ranging from 2.0 kW to 7.2 kW. The digital interface has also been updated, allowing for easy access through either the SYNC 4 screen or the FordPass app for monitoring power usage, setting up timers, and even turning off the power remotely.
The Ford F-150 is a remarkable and versatile vehicle that can cater to the needs of a wide range of customers.
The cabin layout of the F-150 has mostly stayed the same, but the latest models have new and improved features. All trims now come with a 12-inch touchscreen and 12-inch digital gauge cluster as standard. Moreover, the F-150 now has a head-up display feature for the first time, with customized BlueCruise, towing, and off-road drive mode screens. However, it’s important to note that this feature is only available on the Lariat and higher trims. The head-up display provides drivers with a more comprehensive view of important information, enabling them to stay informed while keeping their eyes on the road.
Ford has introduced a new optional modular front bumper that is designed to fit both the factory-accessory light bar and the dealer-installed Ford Performance Winch Kit with a WARN 12,000-pound winch for its Tremor and Raptor models of the 2024 F-150. The bumper is fitted with extra cameras and sensors to accommodate the light bar or winch, which may obstruct the standard front-facing sensing equipment. The bumper is available in Tarnished Dark Anodized and Carbon Black colors. While there is no word yet on the exact release date of the 2024 F-150, it is expected to arrive in dealerships early next year. Prices are expected to increase slightly, with the XL, the lowest-priced trim, starting at $35,830 (plus destination fees) and the top-of-the-line Limited trim, which will be replaced by the Platinum Plus trim, opening at $84,115 (plus destination fees).
