2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Will Soon Become Available to Order Again

Ford will be opening up its order banks for the all-electric 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The Blue Oval initially postponed orders for its EVs due to excessive demand. Thankfully, Ford will be allowing consumers to order the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E this year on August 15th, 2022. As of late, Ford has been seeing a lot of interest in its EVs like the Mach-E and the powerful F-150 Lightning. Due to the ongoing global climate crisis, many consumers have been turning toward electric vehicles. In response, Ford has been trying to increase its production to meet the demands of its customers. We’ll see how Ford is handling the production of the 2023 Mustang Mach-E and whether consumers can expect to receive theirs soon.

Ford Opens Orders for 2023 Mustang Mach-E

Ford will be opening its order bank for the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The automaker had recently postponed orders for the electric crossover due to excessive demand. Thankfully, Ford will be increasing the production of the electric crossover. This will allow consumers to place their orders for the Mustang Mach-E on August 15, 2022. Since its debut in 2021, the Mach-E has had several updates. These include an increase in battery capacity as well as an increase in battery range. According to Ford CEO Jim Farley, the electric crossover may see additional improvements. About the Mustang Mach-E, Farley said,

“It [Mach-E] is due for a major software update later this year that will refresh the entire interface displayed on the screens in the car.”

Ford will be increasing the production of the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E at its Cuautitlan assembly plant in Mexico. This production increase is expected to follow after Ford opens its order banks. The Blue Oval has designated an expected production date of October 31, 2022. Ford will also likely increase its production of the 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning which has also seen high demand. Many automakers including Ford have been hit by the ongoing chip shortage. Despite this, it seems Ford has been able to work through it. 

Ford will also be increasing its battery supply for both the Mach-E and F-150 Lightning. This will boost Ford’s vehicle output significantly. Those interested in the 2023 Mustang Mach-E will have their chance to place an order on August 15, 2022. We’re not sure when Ford will deliver, but consumers should expect a delivery date near the end of 2022.
