Ford and Amazon make an Irresistible Collab
It wasn’t too long ago Jeep took the initiative with premier integration of Amazon Fire TV. Amazon Fire TV was exclusive to the Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Grand Cherokee when it came to vehicle integration. The Amazon collab allowed the gas-guzzling Jeep to stand out when it pertained to in-car entertainment. However, it wasn’t until recently Amazon announced that Jeep’s exclusivity has come to an end.
Amazon will work with Ford and Lincoln to place Fire TV firmly in the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Navigator. Talk about a trail-blazing adventure; the Explorer is already unparalleled, FireTV will make it difficult to head back home.
The system integration will bear similarities to the Jeep. Additionally, the system will respond to Alexa voice commands and provide the same comprehensive content library for rear-seat passengers to immerse themselves in.
Funny enough, specific phrasing at the Amazon press release hinted at future Fire TV integrations to come. However, no integration appeals adequately compared to the Explorer and FireTV.
