Ford Launches Build and Price Tool For the 2024 Maverick

Ford has launched its build and price configurator, allowing consumers to virtually create their dream 2024 Ford Maverick.

Maverick Hybrid Plus Pricing 

The hybrid engine under the hood of the Maverick is a 2.5L Atkinson-cycle I-four Hybrid.  The 2023 Maverick is the first truck offered with a standard hybrid engine and boasts a 1,500-lb. maximum payload rating. This hybrid powertrain generates 191 horsepower with the gas engine and electric powered motor running collectively and a 42 MPG expected gas mileage in the city.

The Configurator: Build and Price 

This new build and price configurator bring some significant changes like the 2.0L EcoBoost front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are now standard on XL, and the 2.5L Hybrid front-wheel drive only is now an optional powertrain. The XLT trim will see a modular hard drop-in bedliner, included in the XLT Luxury Package. 

The 2024 Ford Maverick Tremor Off-Road Package gains new decals for the hood and doors, at the same time as the optionally available Tremor Off-Road Appearance Package has been deleted, as has the SecuriCode keypad, windshield wiper de-icer, and manual sliding rear window.  Ford Authority spotted a couple of lowered Maverick pickups with manufacturer plates that hint at a possible street performance variation. Production of the 2024 Maverick is also expected to begin at the Hermosillo Assembly plant in Mexico on October 16th, 2023, and this date is subject to change.

Technology and Towing Capacity 

All Maverick trims come standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. A couple of other features that come standard are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the base trim even comes with an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. Some optional features consist of a SiriusXM satellite radio, an upgraded B&O Play stereo system, and wireless smartphone charging capability. The Maverick offers 1500 pounds of payload capacity and 2000 pounds of towing capacity. With the turbocharged four-cylinder and the optionally available Tow package, the Maverick can tow as much as 4000 pounds.

Interior and Cargo

The Ford Maverick Lariat interior receives a leg up on luxury with Desert Brown ActiveX trimmed front bucket seats, an eight-way adjustable power driver’s seat with lumbar support, and a six-way adjustable power passenger seat. All Mavericks are crew cabs, which means four large doors and a roomy back seat. Ford has integrated many storage cubbies and bins throughout the cabin, including a few massive areas under the rear seat. Base models are far from plush but  provide standard niceties, such as tilting and telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, remote keyless entry, and adjustable lumbar support for the front seats.
