Ford patented an EV charging adapter that allows multiple cars to top up their batteries from a single power source. A Ford patent application published through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on July 27, 2023, and initially filed on January 26, 2022, details the charging of multiple automobiles by plugging a primary vehicle right into a charging station conventionally and the usage of adapters that could connect a vehicle’s charge port to a charging cable to loop in different vehicles.
