Compact vans just don’t cut it in the States. The Ford van doesn’t have the same captivation as the automaker’s pickup and SUVs. The American automaker’s determination follows in the footsteps of other car makers, such as Ram, who recently discontinued the ProMaster city van and General Motors and Nissan for the US market. 

Moreover, Ford confirmed that the Transit Connect would resume production at the automaker’s factory in Spain, but it will only be allocated in European markets. Nevertheless, never confuse the Transit Connect with the larger-than-life Transit. The Ford Transit is constructed in Claycomo, the automaker’s plant in Kansas City, Missouri.
