The Ford Bronco family has again demonstrated the impressive off-road capabilities of the Blue Oval family in the Rebelle Rally navigation competition. The Ford Performance team, comprised of Melissa Clark and Jessica Moore, won the X-CROSS Class, securing an unmatched fourth consecutive victory for the Bronco Sport. Laura Wanlass and Maria Guitar also performed excellently and took home the bronze in the 4×4 Class. Overall, the event showcased the remarkable Built Wild capability of the Ford Bronco.

In the 2023 Rebelle Rally off-road navigation competition, all Bronco teams finished in the top 10 of the 4×4 Class, highlighting the impressive performance of the Ford SUVs and the skill of their drivers. The all-new Mustang Mach-E Rally also completed its first Rebelle Rally, demonstrating its capabilities. Ford, with a silver-level sponsorship, entered four Bronco SUVs and the Mustang Mach-E Rally, making a solid statement with its participation in the competition.

“We’re proud of our teams, all which used their driving and hand-calculated navigation skills to complete a very demanding off-road rally. The Rebelle Rally also demonstrates the capabilities, durability and agility of our vehicles, including serving as a test bed for the Mustang Mach-E Rally plus Bronco Raptor, Bronco Wildtrak and Bronco Sport.”

-Mark Rushbrook, global director, Ford Performance Motorsports

Throughout the seven-day Rebelle Rally off-road navigation competition, the Bronco Raptor consistently ranked among the top five competitors, which is a remarkable achievement. The Wanlass-Guitar duo and the No. 150 Desert Roots Bronco Raptor, driven by Ford ambassador Shelby Hall and Rori Lewis, secured places in the top five, revealing the remarkable capabilities of the Bronco Raptor. The SUV is designed and engineered by Ford Performance and is the world’s first Ultra4 Racing-inspired SUV, capable of conquering desert dunes at highway speeds and rock-crawling in Baja.

The No. 131 Team Velocity two-door Bronco WildTrak™, driven by the 2022 X-CROSS Rookie of the Year winners Karisa Haydon and Trista Smith, started strong but faced tough competition and had to fight back up the rankings. Despite the challenges, they finished in sixth place, which showcases their skills and determination to succeed. In the X-CROSS class, the Clark-Moore team and the No. 202 Ford Mustang Mach-E® Rally of Bailey Campbell and Kaleigh Miller were in the top five. Both teams traded the top spot around the halfway mark, but Campbell and Miller displayed an impressive performance and finished fifth in the electric Mustang Mach-E Rally®.
