Ford Celebrates 60 Years of Mustang with Limited-Edition Anniversary Package

Ford is marking the Mustang’s 60th birthday with a commemorative 60th Anniversary Package, which revives the cherished Brittany Blue hue alongside previously introduced colors like Wimbledon White, Race Red, and Vapor Blue. Limited to just 1,965 units—paying tribute to the Mustang’s debut year of 1965—this special edition offers a unique chance for enthusiasts to own a slice of Mustang history.

The 2025 Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package showcases the iconic Brittany Blue, which first graced the sports car in 1967. This rare color is available in a limited run, adding a distinctive flair to the anniversary edition. As Joe Bellino, Mustang brand manager, notes, “For 60 years, Mustang has stood out by taking bold risks and offering something truly exceptional. With this unique color, we’re giving our customers the chance to shine among the exclusive group of 60th Anniversary owners.”

This special package is available solely with the Fastback body style and 10-speed automatic transmission. It comes with the performance-focused 401A package, Active-Valve Performance Exhaust, Brembo brakes, a 3.55 limited-slip rear axle, a 12-speaker B&O sound system, and Space Gray upholstery.

Highlights of the Mustang 60th Anniversary Package include:

– Exclusive 60th Anniversary badges on the fenders and trunk lid, inspired by the original 1965 Mustang badges.

– Special side graphics are available in Iconic Silver or Vermillion Red, echoing earlier models’ classic rocker panel stripes.

– A new grille design modernizes the 1964 Mustang’s mesh pattern with functional silver-accented air intakes.

– Smoked Mustang Nite Pony headlights that accentuate the silver-accented nostrils.

– Color options include the new Brittany Blue, Wimbledon White, Race Red, and Vapor Blue.

– Iconic Silver mirror caps for Race Red, Vapor Blue, and Brittany Blue models, and body-color mirror caps for Wimbledon White.

– A serialized 60th Anniversary instrument panel badge.

Ford is enhancing the 2024 Mustang experience with a fresh digital instrument cluster inspired by the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. This new cluster features classic white dials during the day and an icy blue backlight at night. 2024 Mustang owners will find that the Automatic Software Updates await and will continue Ford’s celebration of the Mustang’s rich legacy.
