The Blue Oval announced the change of scenery in response to the electric pickup’s demand. As a result, enthusiasts in Norway can now apply to purchase the limited F-150 Lightning Lariat Launch Edition, which has been in high demand due to its unique capabilities and eco-friendly features.

The F-150 Lightning Lariat Launch Edition will be available in limited quantities through authorized Ford electric dealers in Norway, with deliveries starting next year (2024). Bringing the renowned F-150 Lightning to Europe’s top electric vehicle market is a noteworthy milestone in the American automaker’s electrification plan. Since 80% of new car sales are electric, the European market is the perfect platform for this multi-award-winning vehicle. The Blue Oval’s commitment to achieving zero emissions for all vehicle sales in Europe by 2035 is a testament to its dedication to environmental sustainability. Additionally, Ford aims to attain carbon neutrality across all European operations, including logistics, suppliers, and facilities. Recently, Ford disclosed its plans to double the production capacity of the F-150 Lightning up to 150,000 vehicles annually at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center located in Dearborn, Michigan. The production ramp-up would cater to the rapidly increasing demand from customers.

The Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat Launch Edition, exclusive to enthusiasts in Norway, will come solely in the Super Crew Cab body style and feature an Antimatter Blue metallic body color. The number of units available will be limited, so act fast! These models will be sold through Ford-authorized dealerships across Norway, which boasts over 70 specialized Ford EV dealerships with full EV infrastructure and the capability to serve all F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, and E-Transit enthusiasts. Delivery of the Ford F-150 Lightning will commence in Norway next year (2024).
